Buku Panduan Futsal Pdfl: A Guide for Futsal Coaches in Indonesia

Futsal is a popular sport in Indonesia, but there is a lack of a comprehensive and reliable guide for futsal coaches to develop and train their players. That is why the Forum Diskusi Pelatih Futsal Indonesia, led by Andri Irawan, M.Pd., and other experts, have published a book called Indonesia Futsal Coaching Manual (Buku Panduan Futsal Pdfl) [^1^]. This book aims to provide a pedagogy and a philosophy for futsal coaching in Indonesia, from the beginner to the advanced level.

The book covers various aspects of futsal coaching, such as fundamental skills, goalkeeper techniques, physical development, fitness testing, defensive and offensive tactics, transitions, set plays, and more. The book also explains how to plan and execute effective training sessions, how to evaluate and improve players' performance, and how to create a positive and supportive learning environment. The book is based on the latest research and best practices in futsal coaching, as well as the experience and knowledge of the authors.

It is a valuable resource for futsal coaches who want to enhance their skills and knowledge, as well as for futsal players who want to learn more about the sport. The book also hopes to contribute to the development of futsal in Indonesia and to produce more talented players for the national team.

One of the topics that the book covers is the rules and regulations of futsal. Futsal is a variant of football that is played on a smaller court, usually indoors, with a smaller and heavier ball. The rules of futsal are similar to those of football, but with some important differences that make the game faster, more dynamic, and more skillful. Some of the main differences are [^2^] [^3^]:

  • Futsal is played by two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Each team can have up to nine substitutes on the bench, and unlimited substitutions can be made on the fly, without stopping the game.

  • The game is divided into two halves of 20 minutes each, with a 15-minute break in between. The clock is stopped whenever the ball goes out of play or there is a stoppage by the referee. Each team has one time-out per half, lasting one minute.

  • The ball used in futsal is size 4, but with a reduced bounce. It is harder and heavier than a regular football, which makes it easier to control and encourages more passing and dribbling.

  • The court is rectangular, with a length of 38-42 meters and a width of 18-22 meters. It is marked by lines, and there is no wall or board. The goals are 3 meters wide and 2 meters high.

  • There is no offside rule in futsal, which means that players can position themselves anywhere on the court.

  • The goalkeeper cannot touch the ball with his hands or feet when it is passed back to him by a teammate. He also cannot punt or drop-kick the ball over the halfway line or above head height. He has four seconds to release the ball after making a save or receiving it from a teammate.

  • There are no throw-ins in futsal. When the ball goes out of play on the sidelines, it is kicked back into play from the point where it crossed the line. The player has four seconds to take the kick-in, which must be taken with the sole of the foot.

  • There are no slide tackles in futsal. Players must not go to ground to steal possession back from an opponent, unless they are blocking a shot or a pass. Slide tackles are considered fouls and are penalized with a direct free kick.

  • Fouls are accumulated in futsal. Each team has a limit of five fouls per half, after which every subsequent foul is punished with a direct free kick from the second penalty mark (10 meters from the goal), without a wall. This is known as the double penalty or accumulated foul rule.

These are some of the basic rules of futsal that every coach and player should know. The book Indonesia Futsal Coaching Manual explains them in more detail, as well as other aspects of the game such as formations, strategies, techniques, and exercises. By reading this book, you will learn how to play and coach futsal according to the international standards and regulations. 29c81ba772
